課程概述

本課程將以西方「理性」這一觀念的起源、成熟、中世紀呈現、現代呈現與當代批判為主軸，探索理性觀念的主要內涵與發展。課程重點將放在現代呈現與當代批判，對於其希臘的起源與典範建立亦將特別注意。研讀的主要對象為柏拉圖、亞理斯多得、斯多葛學派、聖奧古斯丁、狄卡兒、洛克、休謨、康德、黑格爾、尼采、海德格、韋伯、阿多諾、霍克海默、德希達等人的關鍵相關論述與重要二手研究

課程目標

使學生對於此一西方思想史的核心觀念之起源、發展、現代呈現與當代批判有深入的理解
